Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy applies to cab bookings, tempo traveller bookings, bus rentals, airport transfers, tour packages and other travel services booked through Make My Journey.

Cancellation by Customer

Customers may request cancellation by calling or messaging our booking support team. Cancellation charges may apply depending on vehicle assignment, driver reporting, travel date, route type and partner terms.

Before Vehicle Dispatch

If a booking is cancelled before the vehicle is dispatched, we may provide a full or partial refund after deducting any payment gateway, administrative or partner charges already incurred.

After Vehicle Dispatch

If the vehicle has already started for pickup or the driver has reported at the pickup location, driver reporting charges, fuel charges or minimum booking charges may be deducted.

No-Show Policy

If the customer is unavailable, does not answer calls, provides incorrect pickup details or fails to board within the agreed waiting time, the booking may be treated as a no-show and refund may not be applicable.

Cancellation by Make My Journey

In rare cases, bookings may be cancelled due to vehicle breakdown, unsafe travel conditions, route restrictions, natural events, strike, emergency or other operational reasons. We will try to arrange an alternative vehicle or process an applicable refund.

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are usually processed within 5 to 10 working days. The actual credit timeline may depend on your bank, wallet, payment gateway or card provider.

Tour and Package Bookings

Hotel, permit, toll, parking, state tax, guide, itinerary or package-related cancellation charges may be governed by third-party supplier terms and may be non-refundable in some cases.
